☺ We travelled a lot , everywhere in the world but this setting and stay are beyond everything we have seen : the beauty, the setting, the friendliness and unusual vibe which makes everything perfect or more than perfect ; we never go twice to the same place as there is so much to be seen in the world but as to this place I can only say: we will come back. Stunning views and exceptional boutique experience
☺ A wonderful experience ,always to remember.Stunning views and location in the rugged Mani landscape .exceptional staff and beautiful carefully created dining .Breakfast was a refined experience and dinners were perfect sitting under the olive tees watching the sunset over the beautiful calm warm sea .There are only 3 rooms in the tower with separate dining areas for each guests .A beautiful small infinity pool to enjoy .Nice beach to swim nearby
Kostas our host was a wonderful source of information.We have great respect for what he has created.Tainaron Blue is one the most special places that we have travelled to .It is refreshing to find such places in our world

Unimaginable... Fabulous... Exceptionnel
With a big heart we left the Tainaron Blue Retreat after a second stay: again an unforgettable stay. A place at the end of Mani (south Peloponnese-Greece), region still so well preserved from mass tourism. A region we love very much: people are friendly and welcoming. The region retains its authenticity, cleanliness, natural beauty, rough and surprising at every turn. The charming hotel is a magnificent reflection of this. The Tower is... magical! The view is "breathtaking". The layout of the authentic tower is done with great taste and respect for the local. A peaceful, restful place... at the end of the world! The gastronomy is tasty: Michelin stars and forks are not counted. What finesse! Congratulations to this lovely lady in the kitchen! The staff is exceptional and discreet: the smiling maid cares for an exceptional sharpness; the Georgian boys are always available, smiling at the ends. What a friendly team! We were welcomed by a warm and attentive boss: even though it was only our second stay, we felt part of the family.We are proud of it. We have two heartfelt wishes: may the Tower remain unchanged and... may we return to it as soon as possible!

A real paradise!
We come here regularly and as always our stay was perfect: whether it was the kindness of the owner, the exemplary service of the staff, the excellent cuisine and the just sublime setting, this is the ideal place to recharge and enjoy a timeless break. Memories to never forget
If you are reading reviews to decide whether you should stay here or not... Stop right now and just book it. It's worth it. A wonderfully tailored experience for my wife and I, we found time to relax, unwind, and enjoy amazing food. Kostas (the architect) found an amazing location, made an amazing hotel, and helped us create amazing memories. We only wish we stayed longer. We stayed for dinner multiple times, and never a dish we regretted ordering. The flavors were inspired. I recommend you expect a long relaxing dinner experience, because this is not a meal to rush through and you won't regret it.

Mani at its best
There are places on this planet which are just marvelous; Tainaron Blue is one of them. This is more than a place to spend a few days! Painstakingly restored by the owner and his wife it immerses you into the world of old Mani. Situated high on a cliff there are endless vistas. Combine this with the authentic high class cuisine served under olive trees and what is there more to be desired.

Fantastic and relaxing experience
In one word it was a fantastic experience!!! The view is indescribable and hard to beat. You feel like you're at the end of the world and if you can't relax here, you won't succeed anywhere. The host Costas is incredibly friendly, helpful and jovial, but always remains modest and will never impose himself. The rooms are not large but are furnished with the greatest care and are tidied and cleaned several times a day. The food in the evening is delicious, pure and honest Greek cuisine with very tasty ingredients. The breakfast is also fantastic. It doesn't start until 9:30 am (in reality only around 10 am) and it is served very slowly. But this “slow morning” is part of the experience and their intention is to make you relax from the start of the day. You have to be prepared for this but you have to learn to appreciate it! Thank you Costas and team, highly recommended!

Romantic ❤️🔥
We were travelling on the Mani by motorbike and were looking for a nice hotel for one night. This hotel exceeded all our expectations. It is so beautifully situated with a view of the water and the coast opposite. We enjoyed the afternoon at the beautiful infinity pool. We were served chilled drinks (on the house). In the evening we were able to admire the sunset on the upper terrace. Dinner was another highlight. The rooms are beautiful, romantic and decorated with lots of lovely details. The service is very good and very very friendly. We will definitely come back!

Breathtakingly beautiful and enjoyable
Based on a recommendation, we booked 3 nights at the Taineron Blue. The stay far exceeded all our expectations. As soon as you arrive, you can feel the enormous hospitality of Kostas and his team. The welcome drink was the start of a breathtakingly beautiful time at the Tainoron Blue. The enchanting location, the fantastic view, the lovely and excellent food, the noticeable comfort and, above all, the incredibly high but unobtrusive hospitality made the days an unforgettable experience for us. But be careful: hecticness and a fully planned program would not be beneficial; it is a very relaxing place: experience and enjoy.

Perfection
Perched high on a soaring rock face, overlooking the ruins of an old Greek village, this tiny hotel is a true gem. Kostas the owner , is a perfectionist and this place is perfection. From the beautifully designed , comfortable bedrooms , to the general vibe of a totally relaxed atmosphere in which to forget the cares of the outside world, this former fortress provides complete protection from the reality of everyday life . The food , cooked exceptionally skilfully by Nata, is so delicious… Greek food but top notch and with a twist . The scent of wild mountain herbs on the breeze, the view of a distant beach , the total beauty of this location , all conspire to make this an extremely special place. We will return!

Far at the southern most tip of the beauteous wild Peloponnese and mainland Greece, and behind large iron gates, lies an oasis of tranquility and perfection. Your host is the genial, welcoming architect, Kostas, who has expertly restored an elegant Maniot tower to provide four small, but exquisitely styled rooms. Delicious breakfasts and dinners are served by him and his attentive staff on the spacious terrace, near the gleaming infinity pool that merges with the magnificent view of the blue, blue sea and sky above.
